Hubbard House
The historic Hubbard House, at 606 S. Broad Street in Mankato, was built by R. D. and Mary Esther Hubbard in 1871.
It was remodeled and enlarged in 1888 and completely redecorated in 1905. While family members lived in
the house and made changes until 1938, the Blue Earth County Historical Society, which operates the house, has
returned the decor to its 1905 period. The Hubbard House is open regular hours for walk in visits. In addition,
tours of 10 or more may be scheduled throughout the year. Advance registrations is required for group tours.
